Journey to the centre of television our commitment to engaging with the world-at-large was exemplified this year by UTSC Professor of Geology Nick eyles, who hosted the five-part documentary television series Geologic Journey II on CbC’s The Nature of Things with David Suzuki. The popular series whisked viewers away on a globe-trotting exploration of the earth’s surprisingly dramatic – and fascinating – geological history. 10

The new Aquatic Centre & Field House Complex will be ready for the Toronto games and will be jointly owned and operated by the City of Toronto and UTSC in perpetuity. New state-ofthe-art Data Centre represents the single largest investment in information technology in our history and positions UTSC at the forefront of the digital world. $7,641,000 has been invested in campus renewal, including study spaces, classrooms and laboratories.
