A Night for the Ladies
Kate Will and Hayley White arranged a
‘Ladies Night’ at Sale Rugby Club that raised
over £2,500 for Ward 84 at the children’s
hospital after their friend’s daughter had
received treatment there.

Instead of presents for her 18th birthday
Sophie Corlett from Bury asked for
donations to be made to the Ponsetti
Fund at the children’s hospital to show her
gratitude for the treatment received by her
little sister Evie-Mae Crawley.
Sophie also organised a black-tie ball at
Radcliffe Borough FC, a non-uniform day at Bury
Grammar School for Girls, and charity collections
at her local Co-op store, so far raising £4,000,
with even more fundraising to come.

We have a limited number of official charity
places up for grabs for a number of upcoming
sporting events, so get in touch as soon as
possible to help support our hospitals.
Cheshire – 12th May
Take part in this women-only cycle event
around Tatton Park, choosing either a 20k,
37k or 52k route.
Places cost just £10 with a pledge to
raise £150 sponsorship.
15th September
Places cost £49 for a charity entry
into the UK’s biggest half marathon.
Participants will be asked to pledge to raise
£300 in sponsorship.
20th July
To take part for free in this unique one
mile swimming event in Salford Quays,
participants are asked to pledge to raise
£120 in sponsorship.
26th May
Guaranteed charity places cost £37
and participants are asked to pledge to
raise £150 sponsorship to take part in
this 10k event.
27th May

The Junior Run is for 9-15 year olds and
covers a 2 mile distance.
The Mini Run is for children aged 3-8 and
covers a 2km distance. (Children participating
in this event can be accompanied by an adult).
