Overall Design Information<br />

Specifications for <strong>Spa</strong> Room Area<br />

Evaporation from spas located inside a temperature controlled room depends mainly on four factors.<br />

• Water temperature<br />

• Humidity in room<br />

• Ambient air temperature<br />

• Area of water surface<br />

The charts below show the evaporation in gallons for a 24 hour period.<br />

First, select the appropriate chart for your model spa. Choose the room temperature in the vertical<br />

column under “Air”. Next, across the row titled “Water Temp F” select the temperature<br />

of the water. In the columns below the water temperature select the nearest common humidity<br />

level. Locate the intersection of the row and column you have selected to find the gallons<br />

of daily water evaporation from your spa. This amount of water will need to be replaced on a<br />

daily basis. Note: Tables assume spa indoors and without cover.<br />
