Transfer Assessment and Advising Program
Undergraduate Studies
The Transfer Assessment and Advising Program is the first step in your transition to college life at Jackson State
University. This program will provide information about academic degree programs, the articulation agreement,
academic support, student services, campus life, financial aid, and university policies and programs. The Noel-Levitz
College Student Inventory survey will be administered as a part of a student-centered initiative to determine how you
learn best and what might be done to help you succeed as a JSU student. You also will meet fellow transfer students
and make valuable connections with current students, faculty, staff, and administrators at JSU. Professional Transfer
Advisors and Transfer Faculty Advisors also will be available to further discuss course articulations, major requirements,
and course selections for the Fall 2013 semester.
