Minutes of Meeting :
1. EC reviewed the delay in Ramanavami Kalyanam and decided to conduct all major festivals at
7:00 pm
2. EC accepted board’s decision of counting all previous donations towards the new life
membership fee and $516 paid as one time donation will qualify to become as a life member.
3. Sai application will have 3 years of detailed data. Data will be merged every 2 years (please
correct it if I am wrong)
4. Construction update: Danthu mentioned that all documents required for first phase construction
is ready. Danthu will be meeting with Praveen today and submit all the documents to the city.
First phase construction is likely to start in the end of May.
5. EC decided that the new silver padukas will only be used along with simhasanam which is
every Thursday and on special occasions
6. EC is proposing BOT to auction all unused silver items donated by the devotees.
7. EC is waiting for BOT’s decision on solar project
8. Venu proposed to stop swarna pushparchana on Thursday to which EC agreed. Swarna
Pushparchana will be conducted on the five major events with the sponsorship of $21.

9. EC discussed various points sent by Srinivas Gogineni as suggestions to SSSSMI. EC agreed
to the following points in his email
1. EC term will be from Jan to Dec (calendar year) going forward. To make this happen,
five extra months will be split in half between the current EC term and the next EC
term. Current EC will work till end of Oct 2011. Next EC will start from 1 st Nov 2011 –
31 st Dec 2012.
2. No change in the election process for the next EC term
3. Election process based on the new EC term(Canlender year Jan-Dec) is TBD. EC
suggested BOT to follow the same term(Calender year Jan-Dec)
4. Expenses more than $25,000 should go though a combined EC, BOT approval.
Expenses from $2500 to $25,000 requires 2 BOT’s approval.
5. Having payment gateway in SSSMI’s website. Rajshekar and Suresh agreed to find
more information about this.
6. Basement doo will always be opened when the temple is open. To avoid any confusion
about the temple timings EC decided to have a board on the basement door – “If this
door is closed, Please use the main door” it will also have the temple timings.
10. Dantu informed all EC members to come up with one slide of presentation highlighting all the
major activities they have been doing so far to be presented in the coming general body
meeting. .
11. Rajshekhar proposed following new Archana and Abhishekam sponsorship for which EC
agreed unanimously and will come into effect pending BOT decision.
