Bring a lunch and sturdy footwear for this<br />
guided walk through areas of the nature center<br />
that most people never see! Be prepared<br />
for varied terrain—up and down, wet and<br />
dry.<br />

Three Wednesdays, June 16, July 14 &<br />
August 18: 11am–12pm<br />
Enjoy an easy, hour-long summer hike with<br />
Cumming Nature <strong>Center</strong>’s own Senior, naturalist<br />
Shariee Edersheim. Bring a lunch if you<br />
like, and stay for a nature film in the Riedman<br />
Theater.<br />

wilderness walk<br />
Saturday, July 24: 10am–2pm<br />
Adventure calls! Take a four-hour hike off the<br />
beaten path with nature center director Dave<br />
Gotham. Bring a lunch and beverage to enjoy<br />
on the trail at a rustic lean-to by a giant white<br />
oak tree.<br />

honey harvest<br />
Sunday, August 29: 1pm–4pm.<br />
Honey extraction at 2pm.<br />
Presented by Alan and Melanie Baldeck of<br />
Baldeck Bees, Mumford NY<br />
Learn about the amazing honeybee and the<br />
art of beekeeping. At 2pm witness the honey<br />
extraction process from hives the Baldecks<br />
placed at the nature center two years ago.<br />
