<strong>Graham</strong> <strong>Gamblin</strong> is a Research Student in the Centre for Russian and East European<br />
Studies, University of Birmingham. He has a first-class degree in Russian Studies<br />
from the University of Leeds, and a Master's degree in Russian and East European<br />
Studies from the University of Birmingham. The present paper is based on work in<br />
progress for his PhD thesis on 'Russian Populism and its Relations with Anarchism, c.<br />
1870-1881'.<br />
