NZCF in 2005, with the<br />

assistance of Shell (now<br />

Greenstone Energy)<br />

and in association<br />

with <strong>InfraTrain</strong>. The<br />

Awards recognise<br />

the outstanding<br />

achievements of<br />

individuals in the civil<br />

construction industry.<br />

The Awards are open to NZCF members – and nominees must be<br />

aged 30 or under.<br />

The winners will be announced at the joint NZCF/ACENZ<br />

(Association of Consulting Engineers <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong>) Conference at<br />

the Distinction Hotel, Rotorua, on 3-6 August.<br />

Roading Excellence Awards<br />

Entries are now open for the<br />

Roading <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> Roading<br />

Excellence Awards 2011.<br />

This year’s Awards are being held at the<br />

Langham Hotel in Auckland on 29 August.<br />

<strong>InfraTrain</strong> is proud to support the Awards<br />

again this year, and is sponsoring the<br />

Industry Best Practice Award – People.<br />

Other Award categories include:<br />

• Excellence Award for a Minor Road Project<br />

• <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> Roading Solutions Excellence Award<br />

for a Medium Road Project<br />

NZRF/RIAA Conference and Exhibition<br />

The 2011 <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> Roadmarkers’ Federation and Roadmarking<br />

Industry Association of Australia Conference will be held at the<br />

Novotel, Rotorua on 24 and 25 August 2011.<br />

The theme of the conference is Smart Lines and speakers<br />

will address road safety initiatives, road safety research,<br />

advances with materials and application technology.<br />

The conference will have an associated exhibition, a products and<br />

technical session by exhibitors, and a site demonstration of application<br />

and removal at the Waipa Mill Village site south of Rotorua.<br />
