While some customers are able to
forecast projects far enough in
advance to allow for paper production
and delivery direct from
mill to printer, others require shorter lead
times that cannot be met in that way. It
isn’t a matter of customer forecasting
inefficiency; it is simply the nature of certain
market segments. Should that mean
we are not able to serve those customers?

operation. Since 1990, the company has
specialised in the paper distribution business,
becoming one of the south-eastern
United States’ largest third party logistics
companies serving paper manufacturers.

Some 20% of CPW’s paper volume is
comprised of imports, primarily from
Europe.
