<strong>Salient</strong> <strong>features</strong> <strong>of</strong> the scheme for booking <strong>of</strong> <strong>IATA</strong>’S<br />
• Such accredited agents <strong>of</strong> <strong>IATA</strong> and/or members <strong>of</strong> TAAI as are desirous <strong>of</strong> transacting through IRCTC<br />
should write to IRCTC along with letters issued to them confirming that the party is an authorized accredited<br />
agent/member. After confirming the same, IRCTC may enter into a formal agreement with them. The<br />
agreement will include acceptance <strong>of</strong> the terms & conditions for using IRCTC's website for booking tickets.<br />
These agents and/or members will pay a onetime fee <strong>of</strong> Rs. 20,000/-(only through demand draft in favour <strong>of</strong><br />
IRCTC Payable at New Delhi only) to IRCTC <strong>of</strong> which Rs. 10,000/- will be refundable if agent/member<br />
voluntarily withdraws from the arrangement with IRCTC.<br />
• Agents who want that IRCTC should purchase Stamp paper on their behalf and sent to them may please sent<br />
Demand Draft <strong>of</strong> Rs. 20,100/- (Rs. 20,000/- for one time registration fee + Rs. 100/- for Stamp Paper.)<br />
• All such accredited agents and/or members will be required to purchase a class 3 personal digital certificate<br />
from any Indian Certifying Authority for their authorized user (only one authorized user will be permitted).<br />
• When an agent and/or member user logs in, IRCTC application will authenticate the digital certificate, and if<br />
authenticated, will allow him to book e-tickets only without applying any restriction on the number <strong>of</strong> tickets to<br />

• The agent and/or member user will book the ticket as per the normal flow, and will give identity card details <strong>of</strong><br />
the traveler. Agents/members should issue receipt for money taken by him from customer on his own printed<br />
stationery. Service tax, as applicable should be shown separately in the receipt issued by the agents. This<br />
receipt should be preserved by the customer to claim refund from agents/members, if it becomes necessary.<br />
• Payment by the agents and/or members to IRCTC for booking tickets on line will be made online, and only<br />
credit cards, direct debit using Internet Banking and cash card options will be made available for such<br />
payments.<br />
• The refunds will be credited back to the account used for online booking. The agents/members will be<br />
responsible for refunds to customers. In case <strong>of</strong> proved misconduct in this regard, the minimum punishment<br />
will be termination <strong>of</strong> his authorization for Internet booking.<br />
• On expiry <strong>of</strong> the validity <strong>of</strong> recognition <strong>of</strong> agent/member by <strong>IATA</strong> and/or TAAI, the access provided to such<br />
agents and/or members would be deactivated by IRCTC unless renewed by <strong>IATA</strong> and/or TAAI and conveyed<br />
to IRCTC with the annual renewal charges for the scheme <strong>of</strong> Rs. 5,000/-. In case <strong>of</strong> change <strong>of</strong> policy IRCTC<br />
reserves the right to charge extra fee as per the changed scenario or right to refuse extension.<br />
• IRCTC service charges for accredited <strong>IATA</strong> AGENTS / TAAI / TAFI MEMBERS shall be as follows:<br />
For : SL and 2S --->Rs. 10/-<br />
For : FC, 3A ,2A ,1A, CC, EC --->Rs. 20/-.<br />
• As corporate entities these agents and/or members shall not be eligible for membership <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Scheme</strong> for<br />
Frequent Travelers. Individual members <strong>of</strong> the scheme shall not be able to accrue any reward points if they<br />
purchase tickets thru these agents and/or members.<br />
• The service charges to be realized by these agencies from the customers in addition to IRCTC service<br />
charges given in Para 8 as above will be Rs. 10/- per ticket in case <strong>of</strong> 2nd class and sleeper class, while it will<br />
be Rs. 20/- per ticket for classes higher than second / sleeper class (inclusive <strong>of</strong> service tax).<br />
• The registration form to be submitted (s<strong>of</strong>t copy) is also available on website.<br />
• If any <strong>IATA</strong> agent is found indulged in any fraudulent activity then the action will be taken as per the do’s &<br />
don’t <strong>of</strong> IRCTC which are mentioned on website (www.irctc.co.in).<br />
• The accredited <strong>IATA</strong> Agents and/or TAAI Member interested in e-ticket facility <strong>of</strong> Railway tickets<br />
through www.irctc.co.in may sent the following:<br />
a. Agreement as given on website complete in all respect.
. Digital Signature as per details given in para 2 & 3 as above in s<strong>of</strong>t copy.<br />
c. Registration Form as given on website in s<strong>of</strong>t copy and scan copy with signature.<br />
d. Demand draft <strong>of</strong> Rs. 20,000/- as per para 1 as above.<br />
e. Copy <strong>of</strong> Authorization from <strong>IATA</strong> and/or TAAI indicating validity <strong>of</strong> their authorization as accredited agents /<br />
member.<br />
