Q Core Medical is privately owned company acquired in 2009 by Dr. Boaz Eitan. Prior to the acquisition of
Q Core, Dr. Eitan became the owner of over 80 patents and founded Saifun Semiconductors Ltd., which
later merged with Spansion Semiconductors. Dr. Eitan serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Q Core
Medical.

All of Q Core’s pumps include Magnetic Flow Control technology (mcf), which dramatically reduces the
power consumption level, flow accuracy and enhances the continuous nature of the flow, thereby
increasing patient safety.
The Magic Straw is Q Core's unique design. The Magic Straw is a disposable module attached to the
pump as part of the administration set. It has a built-in dual safety feature, providing automatic anti-free
flow protection and upstream/downstream occlusion protection. The Magic Straw is easy to install, and
its unique design prevents incorrect installation of the tubing.
