The GEM-40A OEM Industrial Laser delivers exceptional beam quality and superior
amplitude stability in a compact package. Ruggedized for the most severe industrial
environments, it is the standard of the industry.
The GEM-40A is the single-box integration of a high-performance RF power supply and
an efficient, folded-resonator design. This laser includes an integral beam circularizer
for symmetrical beam performance. The result is a uniquely compact and versatile OEM
package. This design delivers a new standard of price/performance in an OEM package. It’s
a structural approach that gives the GEM-40A its outstanding beam quality and stability.
Metal seals assure both long operational and shelf lifetimes. The GEM-40A is a robust and
field-proven product.
The all-solid-state RF power supply can be operated either CW or in a modulated mode,
allowing the user a wide range of process control. The RF power supply is integrated with
the laser head. All control and monitoring signals are accessed through an 8-pin RJ-45
connector located on the laser.
The GEM-40A offers many distinctive advantages. It is cost-effective, simple to use, and
has low service requirements. Available in both air-cooled and water-cooled versions,
GEM-40 lasers also offer straightforward installation. The overall superior performance
of the GEM-40A laser is demonstrated in the high output per unit volume obtained with
its patent-protected technology.
