According to the above graph drawn from the responses <strong>of</strong> the managers, bush fire is very<br />
severe in Bomfobiri. This pressure has persisted over the past five years extending to most parts<br />
<strong>of</strong> the PA, with a high impact <strong>and</strong> significant damages to the PA that it will take long time to<br />
recover without human intervention. Other parks like Bui, Kyabobo <strong>and</strong> Mole are subject to this<br />
pressure but to a lesser extent. In Kyabobo, managers cannot prevent all fires but a bush fire<br />
strategy <strong>and</strong> plan exist which provide guidelines in prevention <strong>and</strong> management <strong>of</strong> fire. In other<br />
PAs this pressure is so low that it can be considered not existing.<br />
