Khilafat Centenary Jalsa - Ghana 2008
Remember.....
MOBILE PHONES
Please switch off your mobile phones during prayers. Some people have the
habit of bringing in their phones and leaving them on. When a phone starts
ringing it causes a great deal of disturbance to other worshipers.
CONVERSATION
Refrain from meaningless talk. Conversations should be carried out in low
voice and with due respect. Acrimonious talk should be avoided. Some
people talk loudly and in quarellous tones as a matter of habit or sit in groups
and indulge in loud laughter. Try to avoid these practices as much as you can
at least for the period of the Jalsa, for it is not considered a good habit.
MARKET
The market shall remain closed during Jalsa proceedings and prayers. There
should be no buying and selling during these periods.
All categories of items should be sold within the market and no other place.
Participants who might want to have special meals apart from what will be
served at the Jalsa, may buy the particular food of their choice from the
market.
ACCOMMODATION
Every participant should take very good care of the facilities provided for
accommodation. Most of these facilities do not belong to the Jamaat.
Breakages and damages might, therefore, be payable. Even if the items are
for the Jamaat, we still have the duty to protect them. Keep the places of
accommodation very tidy. Remember, cleanliness is half of faith.
For the purpose of security it will not be proper to loiter around the area of
accommodation designated for other groups of participants. In case you
notice any strange person in your area of accommodation, even if the person
is an Ahmadi, you may enquire in a very polite manner about his/her
presence there.
The Jalsa Committee will do its best to provide you with every facility within
their reach, however, in case you are still in need of any assistance you may
contact the one in-charge of accommodation.
