Hadeeqatul Mahdi (Oaklands Farm) Alton, by Private Cars.<br />

Members coming from European Countries who are travelling by cars are reminded<br />

that cars are driven on the left hand side of the road in the United Kingdom. The<br />

roads in the vicinity of Hadeeqatul Mahdi are particularly narrow. The speed limit on<br />

these roads is 30 / 40 m.p.h<br />

Guests arriving by car are advised to seek guidance from their own motoring organisations<br />

regarding route maps, Insurance, UK driving Rules and Regulations and Breakdown<br />

cover.<br />

It is important to bring the relevant documents with you (for example Driving Licences,<br />

Insurance Policy documents etc).<br />

Guests are reminded that the UK Jama'at accepts no responsibility for any loss or<br />

damage to vehicles or any other valuables in Cars , which are parked in car park<br />

at Country Market or Hadeeqatul Mahdi.<br />

All guests coming from Europe are reminded that they have to park their cars in<br />

Islamabad for the three days of <strong>Jalsa</strong> and use Shuttle bus service to travel to/ from<br />

Hadeeqatul Mahdi. There will not be any arrangements to park cars at Hadeeqatul<br />

Mahdi.<br />

Transport Policy for UK Members<br />

The <strong>Jalsa</strong> transport policy during the last two years was great success and most welcomed<br />

by Local Council/Police and Highway authorities. The credit for this success<br />

goes to all members of the Jamaat for their cooperation with the administration to make<br />

the transport policy a success.<br />

The salient features are as follows:<br />

A. The members of the London/Middlesex & South Regions are encouraged to<br />

use train services from London to Alton, and use the shuttle service from Alton<br />

to Hadeeqatul Mahdi and back.<br />

B. In case, members of the above Regions have to use their own cars, they would<br />

be allowed to park their cars at Country Market and use shuttle service between<br />

Country Market and Hadeeqatul Mahdi.<br />

C. Disabled person from the UK and overseas will be issued a pass, on application,<br />

to park their cars in Hadeeqatul Mahdi .They should submit their application<br />

duly verified by their respective Presidents along with the proof of disability.<br />

D. The members of the Jamaat from outside London/Middlesex & South Regions<br />

could apply as per last year for one pass per family to bring cars to H/ Mahdi.<br />

Any additional cars should be parked at Country Market and use the shuttle<br />

service.<br />

E. The members are advised to apply for parking permit well in advance. All<br />

applications should be addressed to Afsar <strong>Jalsa</strong> <strong>Salana</strong> and come through their<br />

local Presidents. Please provide the following information.. (!) Name and<br />

AIMS No. (2) Car Registration No. (3) Disability proof.<br />
