Aurora Spring Clean-up 

• Aurora is participating in JBER’s annual clean-up 6-May to 10-May 

‣ Clean-up your yard 

‣ Pick up the winter’s worth of trash from your favorite park 

‣ Clean up fence lines and wooded areas that ―cat ch‖ the wind blown 

trash 

‣ Spring clean your garage, basement, shed, etc. and throw away large 

items at an Aurora office, locations: 

6350 Arctic Warrior Drive, JBER-Elmendorf 

338 Hoonah Avenue, JBER-Richardson 

• Aurora has installed additional dumpsters in housing 

subdivisions during spring clean-up week 

• Report unsightly rubbish to Aurora at 753-1091 

• Friday, 10-May, Aurora’s entire team will be out cleaning JBER!

‣ Close Doors of Dumpsters 

‣ Secure Latches on Doors 

‣ Do not set Garbage beside or around the dumpster 

‣ Pick-up Garbage that may fall out when en route to the dumpster or when ―Life 

Happens‖ 

• Tipper Carts (Garbage or Recycle Bins), please: 

‣ Keep the garbage tipster in your garage until pick-up day 

‣ Have garbage tipster at the curb by 0600 on pick-up day; not the night before 

‣ Ensure that the bin closes (and nothing gets out)
