Weapons Registration (Cont)<br />
• All personnel ―must immediately‖ declare & register POWs upon entering JBER<br />
• Registered POWs are a matter of record in the Security Forces Management<br />
Information Systems (SFMIS) database<br />
• The military member is responsible for ensuring POWs maintained on JBER are<br />
registered, properly stored and safely handled<br />
• The POW registration policy does not apply to military members residing off the<br />
installation unless transporting onto the installation for any purpose<br />
