JBER Community Action Council 673d Air Base Wing Storage of POWs on JBER • POWs may not be stored in POVs/PO-Aircraft or in Unaccompanied or Temporary Lodging (TL) • Army personnel residing in Barracks or TL must store POWs in their unit arms room • AF Dormitory or TL residents must identify the designated POW storage location upon registering • POWs and ammunition stored in unit armories will only be withdrawn upon written approval of the Commander or 1SG • Temporary POW storage is available at the Alt BDOC and 673 SFS Armory—The owner will be provided a Temporary Issue Receipt • The use of locking gun cabinets, locking devices, or safety devices is required for government/privatized housing storage • Each member storing a POW on JBER will sign a memo acknowledging their responsibilities and understanding of POW policies on JBER POC: MSG Urzi Salvatore.urzi@us.af.mil 673d Air Base Wing – Home of America’s Arctic Warriors 673 SFS/S3O (907) 552-6509
