4. Professional development for principals, assistant<br />
principals, and counselors will be collaborative in<br />
nature. Cohorts will establish shared performance<br />
goals, and then will meet periodically to<br />
collaboratively reflect on each others’ progress,<br />
jointly learn from one another, analyze continuing<br />
challenges, and collectively commit to adjusted<br />
strategies. They will also collaboratively explore<br />
ways to drive the district’s Theory of Action deep into<br />
the organization. Schools that are not meeting all<br />
their goals will be assigned a Priority Manager or<br />
other coaching help to mentor principals, collaborate<br />
on revision of restructuring plans, and monitor<br />
implementation of those plans.<br />
5. Administrators will review and continue to strengthen<br />
the employee evaluation process by fostering more<br />
effective growth plans, practicing more quality<br />
observations, engaging in more in-depth postobservation<br />
conferences, and crafting more<br />
meaningful, written recommendations and<br />
challenges for continuous growth.<br />
