Intervention 4: S<strong>an</strong>ction Interview<br />
Describe <strong>the</strong> quality, qu<strong>an</strong>tity, <strong>an</strong>d timing <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> intervention including:<br />
Partnership Project 38<br />
• when <strong>the</strong> intervention is to begin<br />
Scheduled meeting immediately after hearing<br />
• how long <strong>the</strong> intervention will last<br />
5-20 minutes<br />
• to whom <strong>the</strong> intervention is to be applied<br />
First time misdeme<strong>an</strong>or juvenile <strong>of</strong>fenders, ages 11-17, in Anne Arundel <strong>County</strong>,<br />
Caroline <strong>County</strong>, Charles <strong>County</strong>, Kent <strong>County</strong>, Montgomery <strong>County</strong>, <strong>an</strong>d St. Mary’s <strong>County</strong><br />
• who will perform <strong>the</strong> intervention<br />
<strong>Teen</strong> <strong>Court</strong> coordinator or adult volunteer<br />
• how, specifically, <strong>the</strong> intervention is to be delivered.<br />
At <strong>the</strong> conclusion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> hearing <strong>the</strong> youth <strong>of</strong>fender, his/her parents, <strong>Teen</strong> <strong>Court</strong><br />
Coordinator, <strong>an</strong>d adult volunteer will review <strong>the</strong> s<strong>an</strong>ctions given <strong>an</strong>d <strong>an</strong>swer <strong>an</strong>y questions. The<br />
parents <strong>an</strong>d <strong>of</strong>fender will sign <strong>an</strong>d acknowledge <strong>the</strong> s<strong>an</strong>ctions.<br />
