RE - Policy 2: Intensive recreational activities (i.e. disc golf and a<br />

playground) may be considered within the RE-2 subzone within the<br />

footprint <strong>of</strong> the existing disturbed area.<br />

RE – Policy 3: Development may include roads, parking areas,<br />

visitor information and educational structures (e.g. signage<br />

and fencing), day-use facilities (e.g. playground picnic areas),<br />

multi-use trails and supporting infrastructure for permitted<br />

recreational activities.<br />

RE - Policy 4: Commercial uses are permitted on a temporary and<br />

event-related basis, pending required licensing and permitting by<br />

the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Kelowna</strong>.<br />

RE - Policy 5: Existing utilities within the park that pre-date preparation<br />

<strong>of</strong> this <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> are permitted within the RE-1 subzone; new<br />

utilities proposed that do not directly benefit the park will not be<br />

permitted.<br />
