The Opening Ceremony of
CHW, Medic Training Held
The opening ceremony of CHW (Community
Health Worker) and Medic level
1, 2 was held by RCSS Health Department
on 11 July in Loi Tai Leng headquarters,
Shan State in which RCSS senior officers,
instructors and trainees attended.
At the ceremony, Col. Khur Ngern,
RCSS Vice Chairman 2 gave the opening
speech, Dr Bert of Partner Group,
explained the matters related to the training,
and Naw Paw Sakae, deputy head of
RCSS Health Department spoke words of
thank and encouragement.
A total of 27 CHW trainees and 22 Medic
trainees are attending the 6 months-medical
courses.
Partner Group provides both the training
equipments and financial assistance for
the training.
RCSS/SSA Holds the Opening
Ceremony of Military
Training
Restoration Council of the Shan State
(RCSS)/ Shan State Army (SSA) held the
opening ceremony of the 11th round of
the 3rd series of military training in Loi
Tai Leng, headquarters, Shan State on
17 September where the high-ranking
officers, the instructors and the trainees
attended.
RCSS Chairman Lt. Gen Yawd Serk,
heads of departments, high-ranking officers,
invited guests, the instructors and
the trainees joined the opening ceremony
that held at No.3 training camp at 9:45
am.
Lt. Gen Yawd Serk and top leaders of
RCSS gave the encouraging speeches to
the trainees.
After all participants saluting the flags
and paying homage to those who sacrificed
their lives for the sake of the Shan
State, the opening ceremony came to an
end successfully.
Mother’s Day Celebration
in Loi Tai Leng
Restoration Council of the Shan State
(RCSS)/ Shan State Army (SSA) celebrated
the Mother’s Day or the 79th
birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit
in Loi Tai Leng headquarters and Kong
Mun Murng, Shan State on 12, August,
2011. RCSS senior leaders, SSA fighters,
students and local people joined the event
and paid respect to Her Majesty Queen
and prayed for her long life.

SSA troops, students and local
people participated the celebration
of Mothers’ Day that held at 6 pm at the
main hall of Supreme Office. All participants
lit the candles and prayed for Long
Live the Queen.
Likewise, Wa National Organization
(WNO), Pa-O National Liberation Organization
(PNLO) and the 2nd Military
Region of SSA celebrated Mother’s Day
in Kong Mun Murng village together
where local people attended the occasion
and prayed for Her Majesty.
The Ceremony of the 40th
Anniversary of SSPP’s
Founding Held in Wan Hai
Shan State Progres Party (SSPP) held a
ceremony on 16 August, to mark its 40th
anniversary founding at Wan Hai headquarters,
northern Shan State where SSPP
senior officials, SSA troop and local residents
attended.
In the morning, the fruits and offertories
were offered to the Buddha Image and the
meals were offered to 70 monks.
Col. Hkey Minn commanders in chief of
SSA delivered an opening speech and a
message of Maj. Gen Phan Fah that sent
to the occasion read out by Maj. Thet
Htoon at the ceremony.
Maj.Gen Pang Fah wrote “We vow to
fight until peace talks hold to reach a right
solution of our political conflicts” in the
message.
After the ceremony, all attendees enjoyed
the luncheon together and shared merits
gained to the fighters who sacrificed their
lives for the sake of Shan State.
RCSS Representative Attends
the 4th International
Conference on Human
Rights at Chulalongkorn
University
Sai Seng Wan from RCSS Foreign Affairs
has attended the 4th International Conference
on Human Rights and Development
which organized by Chulalong Korn
University at Bangkok on 18-19 August,
2011. He presented his paper of Human
Rights Situation in Shan State from 1947
up to the present.
