Motor operated Traversing hoist<br />

When this hoist performs hoisting to the<br />

upper limit, the distance between the<br />

bottom surface of the rail and the center<br />

of the hook becomes very short. (This<br />

type is most suitable for use in a place<br />

with a small height of ceiling.)<br />

Suspension Type<br />

This hoist is fixed at the ceiling and used<br />

only for lifting and lowering cargo.<br />

Type K (5t to 45t)<br />

For use with a high frequency of use<br />

•Both allowable frequency of use and<br />

hoisting speed are the highest in this<br />

The grade of motor, gear, bearings and other mechanical parts are specified in JIS C 9620.<br />

Check rating and grade fall within your sphere work in order to select the best model for the type of work you do.<br />

Allowable Length of Power Supply Cable<br />

•In case travelling distance is short and a travelling rail is<br />

installed in straight line, feeding power source by cable is easy<br />

for installation.<br />

•There are two kinds of cable installation, Cable hanger type<br />

and Cable reel type.<br />

•As the Cable hanger has two types, sliding on a Messenger<br />

wire and sliding on a Beam flange, select the suitable one in<br />

accordance with condition of installation.<br />

(1) The above tables are considered that the power supply is of<br />

200V class and 400V class, and that voltage drop between<br />

the transformer and the hoist does not exceed 2%.<br />

(2) Data shown in above tables are for Power supply cables<br />

VCT (Polyvinyl chloride insulated cable) and 2CT (Rubber<br />

insulated cable).<br />

(3) Since the values in the tables are applicable when the power<br />

is given only to the hoisting and traversing motors, when a<br />

crane is used, wire size must be increased for that motor.<br />

(4) When the hoisting motor other than specified in the table is<br />

used, consult with nearest Kito distributor (starting current<br />

and power factor may differ).<br />

(5) When the capacity of transformer is too small, as compared<br />

with 3EIs, voltage drop caused by the transformer itself<br />

should be considered.<br />

(6) Figures indicated in the are allowable cable length with<br />

Kito standard cable size.<br />
