Description<br />
Lionsele ® W3 is a double-acting<br />
wiper manufactured from tough,<br />
wear resistant polyurethane (AU/EU).<br />
Its robust outer wiper lip excludes<br />
contaminants from the hydraulic system,<br />
and the internal wiper lip collects fluids<br />
that bypass the primary rod seal, to give<br />
dry rod performance.<br />
Special features<br />
• Double-acting for contamination<br />
exclusion and dry rod performance.<br />
• Chamfered sealing lips provide<br />
minimum fluid film conditions.<br />
• Moulded in high performance<br />
polyurethane.<br />
Typical applications<br />
This double-acting wiper is typically used<br />
in conjunction with a suitable rod seal —<br />
eg, Lionsele ® G, Lionsele ® U2 or Lofilm ® .<br />
It is invaluable for applications where the<br />
residual film of fluid left on the rod by the<br />
primary seal cannot be tolerated.<br />
Operating capabilities<br />
• Temperature range:<br />
-30°C to +100°C (-22°F to +212°F).<br />
Materials of construction<br />
Precision moulded in wear-resistant<br />
polyurethane (AU/EU).<br />
Media capabilities<br />
Lionsele W3 is suitable for use with<br />
most mineral-based hydraulic fluids at<br />
up to 100°C (212°F). It is also suitable<br />
for exposure to air, water, and most<br />
lubricating oils and greases.<br />
Before use with fire-resistant fluids of the<br />
water/oil emulsion or water/glycol types,<br />
please consult our Technical Support<br />
Team for advice on temperature limits.<br />
