artifacts from each state and gave members<br />

a glimpse of <strong>FFA</strong> history. The excitement<br />

heightened with a surprise appearance by<br />

legendary sports figure Muhammad Ali. “It<br />

was so exciting – I got goose bumps,” said<br />

Jenny Stegemoller, a Danville, Ind., <strong>FFA</strong><br />

member.<br />

The national officers urged members to<br />

take on service as a key principle in their<br />

lives. The many <strong>FFA</strong> members that participated<br />

in the PALS (Partners in Active<br />

Learning Support) conference during convention<br />

did just that. Pairing up with nearly<br />

400 elementary students for a day of fun<br />

and learning, <strong>FFA</strong> members shared their<br />

knowledge of the agricultural industry with<br />
