the lawyer's fitness to practice law.'<br />

<strong>In</strong> this case, the Respondent engaged in professional misconduct. He engaged in an<br />

<strong>In</strong>ternet conversation with an undercover law enforcement officer who he believed to be<br />

a 14 year old female. During that conversation, he posted and <strong>re</strong>-posted th<strong>re</strong>e diffe<strong>re</strong>nt<br />

pictu<strong>re</strong>s of his penis and discussed his penis with the purported minor. As a <strong>re</strong>sult of his<br />

misconduct, the Respondent was convicted by his plea of indecent exposu<strong>re</strong> to a minor, a<br />

misdemeanor offense in the State of Colorado. As such, the Hearing Panel concludes that<br />

the Respondent violated the Rules of Professional Conduct, that he committed a criminal<br />

act that adversely <strong>re</strong>flects on his fitness as a lawyer, and that he engaged in conduct that<br />

adversely <strong>re</strong>flects on his fitness to practice law. The<strong>re</strong>fo<strong>re</strong>, the Hearing Panel concludes<br />

that the Respondent violated KRPC 8.4(a), KRPC 8.4(b), and KRPC 8.4(g).<br />

"3. Kan. Sup. Ct. R. 208 provides the annual <strong>re</strong>gistration process for <strong>Kansas</strong><br />

'(a) All attorneys, including justices and judges, admitted to<br />

the practice of law befo<strong>re</strong> the <strong>Sup<strong>re</strong>me</strong> <strong>Court</strong> of the State of <strong>Kansas</strong> shall<br />

annually, on or befo<strong>re</strong> the first day of July, <strong>re</strong>gister with the Clerk of the<br />

Appellate <strong>Court</strong>s upon such forms as the Clerk shall p<strong>re</strong>scribe; provided<br />

that in the year of an attorney's admission to the bar, the attorney shall<br />

<strong>re</strong>gister within thirty days after the date of admission. At the time of each<br />

<strong>re</strong>gistration, each <strong>re</strong>gistrant shall pay an annual fee in such amount as the<br />

<strong>Sup<strong>re</strong>me</strong> <strong>Court</strong> shall order. Attorneys may <strong>re</strong>gister as: active; inactive;<br />

<strong>re</strong>ti<strong>re</strong>d; or disabled due to mental or physical disabilities. Only attorneys<br />

<strong>re</strong>giste<strong>re</strong>d as active may practice law in <strong>Kansas</strong>.<br />
