South East Asia Region
Indonesia – Malaysia – Vietnam
The South East Region, has projects in three countries, represents an important growth area
with some of KUFPEC’s longest-held properties and one of the earliest assets in which KUFPEC
was operator together with some of its most recent investments. Interests include both
onshore oil and offshore oil and gas.
The Company is significantly interested in expanding its interests in this region and continues
to seek suitable new reserves, exploration and production opportunities.
Moreover, the share-interest held by KUFPEC in this region is relatively high, the smallest
being 25% attesting to its firm commitment to the area.
Far East & Australia Region
Australia – China
The Far East and Australia Region, with its growing prosperity, vital position in the world
economy, and its untapped energy reserves, has long been an area of interest for KUFPEC.
Along with maintaining long-standing oil and gas production in Australia and China, the
FEAR Region is participating in three new Australian development projects: Julimar/Brunello
gas production to the Wheatstone LNG project and two FPSO oil development projects. The
FEAR Region is also participating in several new gas exploration projects in Australia to help
support KUFPEC’s environmental focus to increase production of clean-burning gas.
In addition to its successful projects across the globe, KUFPEC is actively seeking further
suitable regional opportunities.
