Naomi is a Special Education teacher with a masters’ in Educational Psychology.
She is also a clairvoyant, musician, and acclaimed piano teacher. She studies
energies generated by music and quartz crystals.
b*) Linda Backman, EdD: “Regression Hypnotherapy, Soul Mission, Soul Progress
and Soul Relationships” (3 hrs)
Dr. Backman is a licensed psychologist with training in speech pathology, audiology,
special education, and regression hypnotherapy. She holds a profound
commitment to deepening and heightening an individual and more universal
understanding and awareness of the path of soul development leading to
greater wisdom and acceptance amongst all people and cultures of the world.
c*) Leonard Horowitz, DMD, MPH, MA: “The Purpose of Live H O: Concert for the

Natural healing expert, Dr. Horowitz, explains how and why Live H O — marry-

ing the universal solvent “water” using the universal language of music to produce
the universal healer, LOVE — holds the greatest hope for purging ailments,
ignorance, and animosity from the global village.

*) Rev. Irène Gareau: “Techniques Used in the Spiritualist Tradition for Developing
Mediumship” (3 hrs)
An internationally-known medium in the Modern Spiritualist tradition, Rev.
Irène Gareau is a spiritual healer and teacher of the beneficial effects and applications
of personal psychic and spiritual development, who oversees French
language activities at the Spiritual Science Fellowship, in Montreal.

• Prof. Joseph Moreno: “Music and Healing in the Peruvian Amazon” (1 hr), followed
by “Laughing to Keep From Crying: Music Therapy and the Blues” (1 hr)
Joseph Moreno is Professor Emeritus of Music Therapy, Maryville University,
director of the Moreno Institute for the Creative Arts Therapies,and author of
Acting Your Inner Music: Music Therapy and Psychodrama, inspired by the
legendary work of his uncle J. L. Moreno, the creator of psychodrama. Professor
Moreno has long maintained an interdisciplinary approach to his work. He is
internationally recognized for creative and groundbreaking efforts that have
served to bring together the disciplines of music and psychodrama in group
therapy processes. He brings us two back-to-back presentations. The first is
based on his field research in the Amazon. It includes images of visionary art, and
the performance of a shamanic song taught to him by a healer. The second fun and
exciting presentation involves group singing and playing the blues and its
applications in music therapy. Experience music and imagery in a group circle
formation.
• Melvin Morse, MD: “Can We Calibrate the Healer? Implications for REIKI, Cancer
Treatment and Mind-Machine Interactions” (2 hrs)
Dr. Morse has researched near-death experiences in children and adults since
1980. His first book, Closer to the Light, exploring NDE’s of children, was an
international best-seller. Transformed by the Light, is a long-term follow-up of
these children as adults, and documents the physical and psychological transformations
resulting from NDE’s. Parting Visions, documents the entire range of
spiritual visions associated with NDE’s, and how these experiences can help us
understand death, grief, and the everyday spiritual miracles. Where God Lives
explains how the brain can resonate with energetic patterns of the universe to
permit communications with the dead, viewing at a distance with the mind,
past-life memories and premonitions of the future. In this presentation, Dr.
Morse shows important connections in developing related skills and phenomena.
