In the midst of severe challenges we face on earth today,
many would say that there shines a new light,
for those who have the eyes to see and the ears to
hear.
Today, future sciences of consciousness & healing converge
with the sublime insights of mystics, saints,
and sages of many ancient religious and cultural traditions
of the world, East & West. This year, we shall
hear again from pioneers in the natural sciences, social
sciences, arts, medicine, psychiatry, and comparative
religion dealing with this issue. They will focus
on impressions of a timeless awareness of a sublime,
inner, guiding light, experienced by many, in various
traditions throughout history.

of McGill & Concordia Universities,
and is a retired professor
of special care counselling at Vanier
College, Montreal. She is an awardwinning
children’s behaviour therapist,
a world-renowned intuitive, an
interfaith minister (ICCC), and the
Organizer of IIIHS Conferences.

Science and spirituality, faith and reason, plus intuition,
urgently need each other to create a truly human
and graceful existence. The ideas that religion
can do without science, or that science can do without
spirituality & ethics, or that reason can survive
without intuition, have presented us with a potentially
disastrous illusion at this point in human history.
Millions throughout history have said that they have
experienced a sublime, eternal, and powerful inner
light shining in the darkness for those who will welcome
it with faith and confidence. That inner light is
experienced as a source of joy, healing, and creativity,
which allows one to thrive in the midst of darkness.
