access to mark a center stake for the TrAlL <strong>and</strong> requesting a right-<strong>of</strong> way<br />
to the property.<br />

DO YOU HAVE ANY FINAL STATEMENTS FOR THE COMMISSION?<br />
Yes, if this Commission approves the Certificate <strong>of</strong> Convenience <strong>and</strong><br />
Necessity, my family <strong>and</strong> I will be completely devastated. Everything that<br />
three generations <strong>of</strong> my family have worked for wiil be wiped away with<br />
one stroke <strong>of</strong> your pen on the final order. I will not be able to start my own<br />
family on the property that nurtured me <strong>and</strong> my ancestors. All <strong>of</strong> my<br />
tireless work for the last 2 years will be rendered meaningless. I will be<br />
forced to ab<strong>and</strong>on my dreams. My beautiful farm “mansion” will be<br />
tragically lost to a speculative “need” for a power line that does not serve<br />
the people <strong>of</strong> West Virginia. This TrAlL is the true “alternate route”<br />
following Maryl<strong>and</strong>’s denial <strong>of</strong> TrAILCO’s request to build the TrAlL there.<br />
