in partnership with Nyack College/Alliance Theological Seminary and Promise
Church, has designed a conference just for you!
At “Learning from the Global Church,” you will meet other renowned international church
leaders for two full exciting days of enthusiastic exchange of ideas and empowerment.
The format is designed to maximize group dialogue and exchange of best practices in
the context of the North American church. To maintain the organization and exclusivity
of this gathering, we will accept reservations from the first 200 people who register by
July 3, 2010.

OUR SPEAKERS
Rev. Sameh Maurice on “Creative Outreach Ministries”
Rev. Maurice is the senior pastor of Kasr El Dobara Evangelical Church in
Cairo, Egypt, which is the largest Evangelical church in the Middle East
where nearly 7,000 people regularly attend services. The ministry conducts
transformational outreach to the surrounding community and in
the region. Pastor Sameh is the international deputy director of the
Lausanne Committee for World Evangelism for the Middle East and
North Africa. This visionary leader has spearheaded ministry outreach
that addresses major social issues including the media, sports, health care, drug rehabilitation,
peace and reconciliation, college and young professional ministries, missionary
work, and church planting.
Dr. Mark Brewer on “Influencing Culture”
Dr. Brewer is a third generation Presbyterian minister. Dr. Brewer received
his undergraduate degree in the Social Sciences from Colorado
State University and a doctoral degree from Fuller Theological Seminary
in 1994. He was the organizing pastor of Cherry Creek Presbyterian
Church in Colorado, which grew to over five thousand members in his
twelve-year tenure. Dr. Brewer is the author of A Walk into the City,
which addresses the issues of cross racial and cross-economic relationships.
In 2001, Dr. Brewer became the fourth senior pastor of 5,000-member Bel Air
Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, with a strategic location and impact on the entertainment
industry.
Rev. Edmund Chan on “Selecting and Developing Leaders”
Rev. Chan is the senior pastor of 4,000-member Covenant Evangelical
Free Church in Singapore. Expository preaching and leadership development
have been his twin passions for over two decades. He has coordinated
the annual Pastors’ Prayer Summit in Singapore since its inception
in 1996. A member of several advisory councils for Christian organizations,
he is also the author of Built to Last: Towards a Disciplemaking
Church and Growing Deep in God: Integrating Theology and Prayer.
Rev. Daniel Ho on “Prayer”
Dr. Ho is founder and senior pastor of Damansara Utama Methodist
Church (DUMC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, currently located in a five-acre
facility called the Dream Center. His church has an English weekend worship
service where attendance has reached approximately 2,600. Worship
services in Chinese, Malay, and Nepalese have also begun, and now count
on many hundreds. Fifteen pastors assist in 21 transformational and holistic
ministries throughout Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia as a whole. Myanmar,
Nepal, China, and Thailand have also benefited from DUMC’s outreach ministry. The
church has extensive support of missions and ministries in Malaysia and in all continents
of the world.
