The principle:
ALD switch is an extremely flexible option allowing you to combine the long-term leasing of a vehicle with the use
of other types of vehicles that better meet specific needs: a people carrier for family holidays, a van for moving
house or a convertible for a romantic vacation, etc. This solution fits in perfectly with a sustainable mobility policy
since it allows you to offer the most appropriate means of transport to match the user’s actual needs. As a result,
the main vehicle can be more compact, less polluting and therefore less expensive in terms of taxation.

• Cost control: for the employer and the employee, choosing a less powerful, more compact or
less equipped main car, allows you to reduce the tax impact and to limit fuel costs. Without causing
any major inconvenience, since other cars are available to meet the user’s specific needs.
• Flexibility: rather than being restricted to one car model, the user has the chance to opt for a more
functional vehicle (van or minibus), a family car (people carrier or estate car), or even a more prestigious
model, when necessary or if they feel the desire. Based on the idea that you choose the vehicle best
suited to your specific needs, the ‘rightsizing’ concept therefore allows you to combine the advantages
of several types of cars.

• Respect for the environment: by signing up for a flexible leasing contract, the user will have no
hesitation in selecting a more compact and cleaner model (reduction in CO2 and fine particle
emissions) as their main car, since they will be able to change it several times. Choosing ALD

• The ALD switch solution is only offered within the framework of new contracts. It is an option in
the long-term leasing contract.

• Before putting this new product on the market, ALD Automotive has ensured that it can guarantee
fiscal security through a notice from the Department of Rulings on Tax Matters (SDA) and a notice
from the National Social Security Office (ONSS). These notices concern the tax deduction of the
leasing price by the employer (customer of ALD Automotive), the calculation of the benefit in kind for
the end-user and the CO2 tax.
• Various choice criteria, such as the vehicle segments and categories as well as the number of days
of use per year throughout the duration of the contract, must be specified when the contract is
signed. However, it is possible to modify these choices during the contract in order to answer the
current needs of the user.
• Bookings are made on the basis of a category of vehicle and not a specific model.
Interested?
• The ALD switch vehicle can be booked for a minimum period of seven days, except for the
Functional and Functional + categories.
• The ALD switch vehicle can be delivered anywhere in Belgium to the company’s address, provided
the transport costs are paid.
• ALD Automotive issues different types of reports to facilitate the job of the fleet manager,
HR manager and finance manager in terms of managing the vehicles.
