Jared also holds his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre
from Minnesota State University – Mankato.
JUSTEN POHL (Lyra Artist) After years of
selling real estate, Justen was in need of a more
stimulating career. One trip to a crazy festival in
the middle of the desert, Burningman, opened
his eyes and inspired him to change his course.
Justen found his niche amongst a class of circus
performers and quickly found himself
submerged in many different venues. From
aerial to fire dancing to stilt-walking, the list
only grew. Whether opening for top chart artists
like Mya or performing with renowned DJs like
Kascade, there was no longer room for a dull
moment. Justen now runs his own company
Enticing Entertainment.
T. MYCHAEL RAMBO (Amonasro) makes
his Theater Latté Da debut in this production of
Aida. Rambo is a Regional Emmy Award
winning actor, vocalist, arts educator and
community organizer. He has performed
principal roles at Penumbra Theatre, Guthrie
Theatre, Mixed Blood, Illusion Theatre, Ten
Thousand Things, Ordway, Children’s Theatre,
Park Square and Minnesota Opera as well as
nationally, including Carnegie Hall and
throughout Europe, Africa, Canada and South
America. He’s appeared in local and national
television commercials, feature films, HBO
mini-series, and other television programming.
T. Mychael will return to Penumbra Theatre in
Spunk slated for March 2013.
ELANDER ROSSER (Ensemble, Mereb u/s)
appeared in Theater Latté Da’s Spring
Awakening. He’s also performed at the Kennedy
Center with Carl Flink’s Lost Lullabies, was a
guest performer with the TU Dance Company at
the Ordway Center, and appeared in Atlanta
Lyric Theatre’s Hairspray. Elander is currently
attending the University of Minnesota – Twin
Cities, pursuing a B.F.A. in Dance.
ANDRE SHOALS (Ensemble, Amneroso u/s)
is thrilled to be making his debut with Theater
Latté Da. Most recently seen in Park Square’s
production of Ragtime, he’s also performed in
Cardinal Theatrics Rocky Horror Live as Dr.
Frankenfurter. Beginning his career as a

dancer with Zenon Dance Company in the
early 90s, he moved to NYC to work with Bill
T. Jones/Arnie Zane & Co., Jane Comfort
Dance, Susan Marshall Dance Company, and a
score of independent choreographers. Before
moving back to the Twin Cities, he performed
with Boston-based Fringe theater company
The Gold Dust Orphans, where he is also a
founder member.
AUSTENE VAN (Aida) is debuting with
Theater Latté Da. Her Penumbra Company
member credits include Amen Corner, Blue, Ain’t
Misbehavin’, Dinah Was, Blues for an Alabama
Sky and Seven Guitars. Austene has also
performed in In The Next Room at the Jungle
Theatre; Gem of the Ocean, Crowns and A
Christmas Carol at Guthrie Theater; Radio Golf
at IRT/Cleveland Playhouse; To Kill a
Mockingbird at Park Square; Once on this Island
at The Children’s Theatre Company; Singing in
the Rain at Ordway. Her recent directing credits
include Hot Chocolate, Gee’s Bend and Lady
Day at Park Square; A Civil War Christmas at
History Theatre; Blues in the Night at Ordway;
and Black Nativity at Penumbra. Austene is an
Associate Artistic Director of History Theatre.
KELLI FOSTER WARDER (Ensemble,
Dance Captain, Assistant Choreographer) makes
her Theater Latté Da debut with this production
of Aida. She was most recently seen in
Bloomington Civic Theatre’s production of 42nd
Street (Lorraine). Kelli also appeared in
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres’ production of
Hairspray last year and is a choreographer for
high schools and churches.
