From the
Rector
Thanks to the generosity of our many donors, some wonderful
things have been happening at Exeter College in the past year.
In particular, we have become the owners
of the thrilling site on Walton Street that
will become our New Quad – a move we
would never have dared to make without
the support and help of our alumni and
friends. And we have completed our
Festival, which brings the three Turl Street
colleges together for a week of music,
theatre and fun; the hardship grant which
stops a student fretting about finding the
money for rent instead of concentrating
on revision; the sports equipment that
benefits our rowers, rugby players and
runners; the Chapel Choir’s tour to the
United States.
The Annual Fund has just had its best
year ever. Not only did the gross amount
raised soar by £100,000 over the previous
year’s total, but the proportion of alumni
