The glory of the Lord has shone upon us and shall
ever manifest itself among us until the day of his return.
Through the rhythms and changes of time, let us call to mind
and live the mysteries of salvation.
The center of the whole liturgical year is the PAS-
CHAL TRIDUUM OF THE LORD, crucified, buried and
risen, which will culminate in the solemn VIGIL OF
EASTER, during the holy night that will end with the dawn
of the 24th day of April. Every Sunday, as in a weekly
Easter, holy Church makes present that great and saving
deed by which Christ has forever conquered sin and death.
From Easter there comes forth and are reckoned all
the days we keep holy: ASH WEDNESDAY, the beginning
of the Lenten spring, the 9th day of March the ASCENSION
OF THE LORD, the 2nd day of June; and PENTECOST,
the 12th day of June; the first SUNDAY OF ADVENT, the
27th day of November.
Likewise in the feasts of the holy Mother of God, of
the apostles and saints, and in commemoration of the faithful
departed, the pilgrim Church on earth proclaims the resurrection
of Jesus Christ our Lord. To Christ who was, who is,
and who is to come, the Lord of time and history, be endless
praise forever and ever. Amen!

that we will be forming a Cherub Choir, open to children
in grades K, 1 and 2. Rehearsals will be held on Sunday
mornings in the CB East or Holicong choir room. If your

Respect Life Committee

Monday, January 24 th is the annual March for Life in Washington,
DC. Buses will leave Our Lady of Mount Carmel
parking lot at 6:45 am. Cost is $25.00 per person.

DC, Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Respect Life Group will
be meeting after the 8:00 am Mass at the St. Juan
Diego Chapel on Friday, January 21, 2011 and travel
together to the Planned Parenthood abortion center in
Warminster to pray and give witness.
Also, just a reminder we will meet the 2 nd Thursday of each
month after the 8:00 am Mass at the St. Juan Diego
Chapel and travel to the Planned Parenthood abortion
center in Warminster to pray as a group. For more

*Souperbowl of Caring is a national grassroots
movement whose mission is to tackle hunger in America.
The program is driven by youth and last year raised over
$10 million ($337,000) in PA alone. The drive is held on
Super Bowl weekend (2/5-6) . Parishioners are asked to
donate a can of soup or $1.00. Stay tuned for more information.
THE “BLACK BELT DAD” COURSE. SESSION II -
"CHRIST-LIKE HUSBAND"
The “Black Belt Dad” course Session II -
"Christ-like Husband" will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe
Parish Office for six weeks on Monday nights,
6:15 pm to 7:15, beginning January 10, 2011. Open to all
men of faith.
A father’s most important mission is to help his
children develop spiritually, emotionally and socially. In
our busy world, it can be tough to find the tools, support
and information needed to effectively teach our kids values…like
responsibility, integrity and fortitude, so critical
to their happiness.
Join us for a six-week course created to help
everyday dads with practical ideas, resources and a casual
discussion forum on helping our kids become the best they
can be – and on becoming the best fathers and husbands
we can.
Each one-hour session includes:

§ Open Discussion Time
§ Fellowship with Other Dads/Husbands
§ Faith Perspectives on Key Issues
