Preface
Welcome to the fifth edition of the Disabled Access Guide, a fullyupdated,
comprehensive handbook to the facilities of London theatres.
Theatre owners are committed to offering all theatregoers the highest
standards of service and venues are improving access all the time.
The information in this Guide is supplemented by our website
www.theatre-access.co.uk which is kept up to date with any changes.
It also offers details of current and forthcoming shows and assisted
performances.
We should like to thank the following people and organisations for their
help and support throughout the production of the guide: Arts Council
England, Brian Vickers and Fred Williams at Artsline and the managers and
staff of the theatres included in the guide for giving us their time and
assistance in compiling the information.
Copies are available in large print, Braille and
on tape. Please ring 020 7557 6713 to obtain a
free copy.
