VENDOR FEATURE: HERB’S PARTS
Mopar Madness has reached unmatched
levels both at Carlisle and within the collector
car hobby. With this weekend’s event,
there are a few things you can do that make
being a fan of the Mopar brand very easy. Meet
celebrities — check; sit in on seminars led by industry
professionals — check; be part of a showfi
eld that hosts a few thousand of Detroit’s best
— check; and shop for parts and accessories to
help with either the upkeep or restoration of your prized
ride — check!
As the annual event goes, the world’s largest all-
Mopar swap meet is a popular destination for enthusiasts,
and one of its popular vendors is Herb Reynolds
of Delaware and the purveyor of Herb’s Auto Parts.
Herb and his parts have been coming to the Chrysler
Nationals since its inception in 1991 and can be found
this weekend in Row IA, Spaces 5-13 (same row as the
Guest Services building).
There are many great vendors here this weekend
and Herb’s Parts is one of them, but what brought
Herb here in the fi rst place and what keeps him coming
back? “I’ve been at this event since day one and at
Carlisle for a few years before that,” said Herb from his
always-busy offi ce. “Carlisle is well known for all of its
shows, not only the size and reach of them all, but the
way each of them are so well-presented. What Carlisle
does works, and the people that have been coming to
Carlisle have been very good to us over the years.”
Might it be the parts themselves that draw the interest
of those shopping the swap meet at Carlisle?
Based on his web site promotion alone, it’s clear to see
that Herb’s Parts are something special. According to

for more than 30 years, specializing in 1963–1974
Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge parts and accessories.
Our goal is to continually expand the inventory for
these cars and develop parts availability for others,

order is placed. We attend to each customer quickly,
answering questions and fulfi lling restoration needs

All of that sounds good on paper (or online), but
Herb’s Parts not only talks the talk, they walk the walk.
With a great array of A-, B-, C- and E-Body parts as well
as 2006–12 models and even truck accessories, Herb’s
Parts believes that a great mix of supplies helps keep
the people coming.
“Not only do people come see us in droves at Carlisle,
we see a lot of Web traffi c, too. I always encourage
someone who interested in a part to pre-order, but I
do advise at least two weeks’ notice,” Herb said. “In addition,
if someone wants to buy on-site from us, they’ll
see great show specials and, better yet, will save on

shipping costs.”
One of the more popular aspects of what Herb’s
Parts does is their wall of carpet. This weekend, they
have 100 sets of carpet and want you to stop by to
see what works best for you. Herb continued by saying
that, “The Carlisle Chrysler Nationals has become
our biggest show, and we believe what makes us successful
is not only our wide variety of parts, but our
friendly customer service. We always have a smile on
our faces. In fact, I want everyone to know that if they
order online, there is a great chance that I’m smiling
when I review their Web order.”
