$ Selling 2 packages of 2 embryos, guaranteeing at least 1 pregnancy for each
package.
$ Opportunities like this don’t come along with every consignment sale. Dawson
Creek is offering cutting edge genetics to start off the Pick of the Herds sale. AHL
Reba 56S is the reinging National Champion Balancer Female. These embryos, sired
by Carolina Fortune, will produce homozygous polled calves with EPD strength in
the top 10% of the breed for WW, YW, M, TM, CW and FM.
$ Reba just weaned her first calf and that heifer has that cool-fronted look just like her
dam. If you want front pasture style and breed leading EPD strength look no farther.
$ A solid female that provides confidence of a promising calf to wean off next fall and
a long, highly productive life. She has a “No Holer” pedigree and balanced, solid set
of EPDs all the way across. Her DNA came back with a Marbling score of 8 and
Percent Choice of 7. Now consider her Maternal Calving Ease Score of 8 and you
know you will be keeping her daughters.
$ AI’d April 29, 2008 to EGL Tenerloin (AGA 855307). Pregnancy examined safe.
$ The heifer calf at side is JTSD Ms Freedom 855U, born Aug. 15, 2008, sired by SLC
Freedom 178F. She has the looks of making a great show heifer by next summer.
$ This is a super red Balancer first calf heifer doing a bang up job with her first effort.
She combines Cherokee Canyon with our old can’t miss Black Imprint cow. We have
kept every daughter out of 426G and the only reason we offered this one to Nick
was we have a full sister to replace her. This pair has tremendous producing
potential and the proof is at her side.
$ Tender Heart’s dam - Tess 76N - is very special to us. She has been Grand
Champion Pasture Pair at the Kansas State Fair both times we took her. She was
awarded Dam of Merit by AGA in 2008. She has had three heifers; the first one we
shared by consigning her to the Pick of the Herds in 2005 going to Todd Hodges of
NC. The second we kept for our herd, as was the plan for Tender Heart. However we
decided we need to consign the very best so here she is.
$ AI’d April 8, 2008 to Mytty in Focus (AAA 13880818). PE from April 12 to April 30,
2008 to Stuckys Lead Objective (AAA 15758919). Pregnancy examined safe for a
January calf.
