Dear Healthcare Professional,<br />

I am pleased to present you with the conference agendas for the <strong>Obs</strong>-<strong>Gyne</strong> Exhibition and Congress, taking place at<br />

the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 31 March – 2 April, 2013.<br />

At this year’s congress, the <strong>Obs</strong>-<strong>Gyne</strong> <strong>Conference</strong>, Women’s Health Programme and Midwifery <strong>Conference</strong> will be<br />

returning with updated programmes containing the latest information and hot topics in their respective fields. A new<br />

addition to the <strong>Obs</strong>-<strong>Gyne</strong> Congress will be the Neonatology <strong>Conference</strong>, created to expand the scope of the congress.<br />

The <strong>Obs</strong>-<strong>Gyne</strong> <strong>Conference</strong> will be a three-day event with both a focus on general gynaecology and specialised fields such as: feto-maternal<br />

medicine, reproductive health and oncology. Bringing speakers together from all over the world, this conference is truly an international<br />

platform to share and discuss all topics related to obstetrics and gynaecology.<br />

The Women’s Health Programme returns with a half day programme targeted towards GPs and Family Physicians. The conference<br />

highlights the topics which are of importance to physicians treating women’s health on a daily basis, this conference will look at: Diabetes,<br />

Hypothyroidism, Nutrition and Cancer Screening.<br />

The Neonatology <strong>Conference</strong> was created to branch out and cover in more detail this field of medicine. Targeted not only towards<br />

neonatologists and paediatricians, this conference will also be relevant to any healthcare professional who deals with premature infants.<br />

Lastly, the Midwifery <strong>Conference</strong> is a regionally accredited programme dedicated to providing midwives and nurses with the latest<br />

information and international guidelines needed to improve their practice. At this year’s conference, the theme will be Midwives Deliver –<br />

looking at the birthing environment, concepts of care and coping with complications.<br />

This congress will provide the platform to discuss and debate the latest advances in the management and treatment of disorders, giving<br />

delegates and speakers the opportunity to interact on both a professional and social level.<br />
