Ref no: SRCL/MJ03/2012‐13 12.02.13. Small scale Industries are exempted from deposition of earnest money as per government policy. For getting exemption from submission of EMD, the SSI unit is required to submit a notarized copy of the registration certificate indicating clearly the item for which they are registered issued by NSIC or respective department of state government (Entrepreneur Memorandum Part‐2) and the validity of the same. On completion of the auction, MJ will refund the EMDs of the unsuccessful bidders. The EMDs of the successful bidders will be remitted by MJ to SRCL. 5. Last date for the submission of EMD will be 20 th Feb 2013. 6. The price quoted in the auction will be “Rs Per Metric tonne” ex‐SRCL ‐ Salem, excluding freight and taxes, but including Rs 32/MT towards loading and weighment charges. 7. Final bids given by the successful bidders in the online auction process shall be kept valid for a period of 15 days from the date of online forward auction for acceptance by the SRCL management. 8. SRCL reserves the right (with approval of competent authority, as per delegation of power) to accept or reject any or all the bids or to apportion the materials in any manner deemed fit and this decision shall be final. 9. In cases where the bids given by the customers in the OFA are not acceptable to SRCL Management and in respect of other than H1 parties, the EMD of the Un‐successful bidder(s) shall be refunded by M/s. Mjunction Services Ltd. 10. The successful bidders will deposit advance equal to 100 MT calculated at the price obtained in auction plus 5% VAT (or 2% CST, as the case may be). Dispatches will be made against the advance paid, and when the advance amount falls to a value equivalent to around 20 MT, fresh advance for another 100 MT will be deposited. SRCL will ensure that at no point in time will the sales value exceed the amount of advance in balance. ‐ 2 ‐

In case a customer fails to lift 1500 MT over the three month period, an amount equal to 25% of the selling price x shortfall in quantity will be adjusted against his advance and retained by SRCL. 12. If a customer fails to make payment within seven days of placement of sale order, SRCL will forfeit his earnest money. The quantity will then be offered to the next highest bidder in the auction who was not allotted any quantity, i.e.other than the intial four bidders. 13. Customers who wish to participate in the auction will send a copy of the catalogue duly signed & stamped by authorized signatory along with Exception documents (if any) to MJ on or before 22 nd Feb 2013 @ 12.00 noon and endorsed as under : “I accept the terms and conditions of the on‐line forward auction of Smoke Dust and wish to participate in the auction process.
