College life
City College is a world away from being at
school. Here you will find you will have more
freedom, make your own decisions and take
more responsibility for your future. We’ll work
closely with you and provide you with all the
opportunities and support to help you succeed
- but ultimately it is up to you to make the
most of your time here.
Being a student at City College means much more
than gaining a great qualification. We want you to
come here and enjoy all aspects of college life and
feel prepared for your next step at the end of your
course, whether that is into employment or onto
further study here or at university.
We’re very proud of our students and the confidence,
independence and skills they gain with us and we
love to hear about what they go on to do once
they have left us. There are a small selection of
our graduates highlighted in this prospectus, but
thousands every year have gone on to top universities
(including Brighton and Sussex), art colleges and
straight into industry.
As well as your course, we will also provide you
with plenty of opportunities to make an active
contribution to both the College and its communities.
Getting involved gives you the chance to show future
employers and universities that you have more to
offer than a qualification - and you can prove it by
enjoying yourself!
