Sunshine State Chapter #159 of Florida<br />
The <strong>Korean</strong> Christian Broadcasting System interviewed<br />
<strong>Korean</strong> <strong>War</strong> <strong>Veterans</strong> about their wartime experience in Korea on<br />
June 29, 2003. This program was broadcast in Korea on July 27,<br />
2003. <strong>Korean</strong>/American Tampa Bay Chapter provided entertainment<br />
for the veterans.<br />

South Central Wisconsin Chapter #245<br />
(Brampton, Ontario, Canada)-- Retired USA Col. Clifford<br />
Borden of Madison officially represented the KWVA of the U. S.<br />
at an-historic ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of<br />
the July 27, 1953 signing of the <strong>Korean</strong> <strong>War</strong> Armistice and Cease<br />
Fire. Simultaneous ceremonies were being held in Washington,<br />
D.C., in South Korea and at other locations throughout the free<br />
world.<br />
Borden, recently served as president of the South Central<br />
Wisconsin Chapter No.245 of KWVA laid a commemorative floral<br />
wreath from the 17,000 member KWVA organization during<br />
ceremonies held at the National Wall of Remembrance by the<br />
<strong>Korean</strong> <strong>Veterans</strong> <strong>Association</strong> of Canada. The wreath was in tribute<br />
to the 516 members of the Canadian armed forces who were<br />
killed in action during the <strong>Korean</strong> <strong>War</strong> while serving as members<br />
of the British 1st Commonwealth Div. More than 27,000<br />
Canadians answered their country’s call to arms. (The U. S.<br />
wreath was hand-crafted in Madison by Choles Floral.)<br />
