Example of the planning for a brochure for an art gallery:
The COVER must be particularly
attractive.
WHAT is it called? What is its name?
What can be viewed? Explain briefly, but
make it interesting and enticing.
WHO is involved? Who sponsors it?
Mention other interesting sites/sights in
the neighbourhood.
Explain WHY a visitor needs to come to THIS
place!
WHERE is it held?: Its physical address
Supply a map with simple directions
Give telephone number, cell phone, e-mail
address, fax number and name of contact person.
Give the opening times and the cost of admission?
Editorial
This is a text that is written by the editor of the newspaper or magazine. The text sums up the
main articles and whets the reader’s appetite to read.
