FibraStage Disposable,
High-Yield Cell Culture System
A small scale disposable system simplifies production of secreted products, virus
or cells from anchorage-dependent and some suspension cultures. Disposables:
Pre-sterliized, single-use 500 mL bottle(s), pre-filled with 10 grams of the FibraCel® disks
provide a low-shear environment and extremely high-surface area for cell growth. Non-
Disposable Components: FibraStage console with adjustable speed platform collapses/expands
the bottles, exposing cells to nutrients and gasses; and a controller. Requires
use of CO2 incubator for temperature and gas control. Control & Display: Keypad with
LED display regulates bottle movement and "hold time", for efficient nutrient and gas exchange.
Capacity: 500 mL bottles; Console holds up to four bottles.
Overall dimensions: 10.4” W x 14.1” D x 12.2” H (26.4 x 35.9 x 30.9 cm).

Continuous Cell Culture System
The FibraStage Continuous System includes everything listed above plus a pump module
to provide continuous media exchange in the FibraStage continuous bottles. Each
bottle is equipped with additional inlet and outlet lines for media re-circulation that links
to an optional media addition bottle. This provides continuous exchange of nutrients,
eliminating the labor for media exchange and avoiding possible contamination during
media exchange. Accommodates up to 3 bottles.
