Environmentally green, even in the office.
Bürkle has put the paperless office into practice. With
our EASY software, the market lead in the paper less
office sector, all files are scanned at Bürkle in document
quality. In this way the majority of our mail is
drawn up and dispatched electronically.
} Order confirmations for more than 20,000 orders
per year are sent automatically by fax.
} Most invoices are included in the package with
the goods; this saves envelopes and reduces
postal charges.
The Bürkle Catalog is also following this trend toward
paperless media. It is available in digital form on the
Internet.
Packaging isn’t peanuts for us.
Less packaging – more environmental protection.
By logical orientation toward environmentally-friendly
dispatch Bürkle not only reduces the amount of packaging
material, but also saves its customers from
additional costs.
} For dispatching goods we use only cardboard
boxes with recycling markings.
} Boxes in good condition are reused.
} Customer’s dispatch orders are collected to reduce
packaging material.
} No superfluous packaging material is used.
Quality standards can be met. Or exceeded.
Our aim is not just to comply with rules and regulations
but, wherever possible, to be better than their
requirements.
This applies not only to our quality management system
as per DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, which we introduced
no less than 10 years ago and which covers all
processes throughout the company.
This ambitious target also applies to environmental
protection.
As we only process plastics and do not produce them
ourselves, we are a company with an inherently very
low impact on the environment. We produce neither
toxic substances nor do we use hazardous chemicals.
Only the hydraulic oil used for operating our plastic
processing machines is replaced after about three
years by an authorized recycling company.
Ahead of our time in environmental protection.
We don’t wait until stricter new environmental laws
come into force, but take action as soon as EU Directives
are published. For example, one EU Directive
states that lead, a toxic substance, should be avoided.
Bürkle has implemented this directive in a consistent
manner. Today, for example, our immersion bottles
are manufactured without using any lead at all.
