Minutes <strong>of</strong> the August 8, 2011 Council Meeting<br />
Council discussed the liability issues that could occur from allowing a special occasion<br />
permit for tiered seating such as bleachers and asked that staff report back with the<br />
potential risks and liability <strong>of</strong> implementing these Provincial amendments to the existing<br />
Municipal Alcohol Policy.<br />

Update<br />
Council members reviewed D.C.S. Report No. 80-2011 detailing maintenance and<br />
regulations that are involved with the supply <strong>of</strong> drinking water to its residents.<br />

6.13 TR Report No. 37-2011 – Re: Forest Curling Club Renovations<br />
<strong>The</strong> Treasurer Janet Ferguson provided a brief summary <strong>of</strong> the status <strong>of</strong> the Forest<br />
Curling Club renovations and explained that due to the short time frame during which<br />
the expenses for this renovation will exceed the donation revenue, the Club is<br />
requesting the <strong>Municipality</strong> assist with this to ensure the contractor receives the<br />
regularly scheduled payments for the work completed. <strong>The</strong> cash flow borrowing project<br />
does not exceed $25,000. And will be repaid between October and December <strong>of</strong> 2012.<br />
