I am fascinated by pictures that use motion to
communicate different feelings and moods.
By motion I mean still pictures that manage
to create a movement and energy through
different techniques. Therefore I try to capture
this energy in my own pictures.
To do so, I use long shutter speed, which can
make something natural look surreal and
distorted.
This combination of the natural body and the
long shutter speed makes the naked body look
dreamlike and almost mythical.
It also creates an opportunity for the viewers
to use their imagination to interpret the picture
in their own way.
