I have always considered myself as a portrait<br />
photographer. However, after entering the MA<br />
Photography programme, I was determined to<br />
explore another essential area of photographic<br />
approach – documentary photography.<br />
I am currently working on a project based in<br />
the Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine. The aim of<br />
the project is to investigate the field<br />
of craftsmanship in my homeland and its<br />
emerging problems of development, and<br />
communicate the subject matter to the<br />
audience through images.<br />
I can definitely say that one of the main<br />
reasons for doing this project was the<br />
multicultural society I faced in London.<br />
