Purpose of This Document
• Improve quality of learning for ALL students

functional assessment and written plans of support using the Positive Behavior
Support approach

to resolve behavior problems rather than rely on the “expert model”
• Support the State Board of Education Goals and the State Improvement Plan
• Support implementation of IDEA 97
