Dear students and parents,
I want to welcome you to your new high school and what we believe will
be a very rewarding and memorable experience. You have a great chance
to be a part of the Knight family at Oakleaf High School. We believe in
you and your abilities. You are the reason that we are here. It is my
hope that you will make the most of the many opportunities afforded to
you.
Included in this booklet is a copy of the course catalog. Please give as
much thought as possible when choosing your classes. Keep in mind that
you need to choose the subjects that meet the state guidelines for
graduation and that are of interest to you. This catalog gives an in-depth
description of all classes offered. Also, included are graduation
requirements, academic programs, and guidelines.
In order to better insure that your selections are secured, you must
return your requests within the timelines given. Following the timelines
will make the course selection process beneficial to everyone.
Let me conclude by stating that we want your years at OHS to be the best
possible. You are encouraged to become a positive leader at the school
and become involved in the extracurricular activities. Remember that my
door is open in order to assist you. Please feel free to call on me and I
